College students frequent social networking sites, and using them can also be more effective than email because some students may disregard mail concerning the census as "spam". Hopefully, more census committees will keep college students in mind to ensure that the best representation of the population is counted in the upcoming census.

Thanks for your comment. First, I want to make clear that the validation made in AES does not forbid filers from entering valid "unknown" carrier identification codes that I mentioned in the post. If the transportation company does not have a valid Carrier Code that identifies them, then your last resort would be enter an acceptable "unknown" identifier; however, the name of the carrier should be known at the time of export and must be specified in the Conveyance Name field. "Unknown" will not be accepted in the Conveyance Name field.
In regards to the databases, you are correct. ABI and AES work independently from each other. They are managed separately and do not share information. The AES Mainframe is updated with the list of SCAC or IATA codes provided to us by the National Motor Freight Association.
If you are certain a SCAC code is valid, but AES does not accept it, we would need to receive a copy of the certification. We will then verify the information provided and update the system as well as our filing applications. Carriers can fax this document to 301-763-6638.

Also, if Hispanic is an ethnicity, then aren't many of the selections under question 9 also ethnicities? Including Asian Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Guamanian, Filipino, Vietnamese and Samoan, which are also nationalities.
Based on your inclusion of nationalities, most respondents could complete the "Some other race" category with "United Statesian" or "American." But, that probably would not suffice and hence drive the cost of the Census up by $57 each.
The Census/OMB definition of race and ethnicity is muddled, confusing and in many ways lacking. Which leads me to conclude any "Demographic Analysis" of the data will be lacking as well.
I recall similar questions in 2000. Not much changed.
Perhaps 2020 will bring some reasonability to the topic. You've got ten years. Think about it. Keep it simple and consider ALL those who are to respond.

Thanks for the comment! We're using the current font size to try to fit all of the information on only one page. One option that you have to make the font a bit bigger is to change the Page Orientation' from Portrait' to Landscape', under your Printer Properties.
If you consider the font still too small, you can always download the search output as a spreadsheet CVS file by selecting the Download' option. From there, you can update the font size and other features as you find more convenient.
